Pimpri, Pune (May 15, 2026): With the aim of providing students with world-class modern technology—and placing the student at the very center of its initiatives—Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU) is implementing various programs in collaboration with renowned national and international companies. “We are committed to prepare our students for the future by integrating emerging technologies into our education ecosystem,” stated the university. In furtherance of this objective, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed with Fidel Softech for establishment of the ‘Spogle AI Data Analytics Lab.’ Mr. Dnyaneshwar Landge, Chairman of the Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust, highlighted that this agreement marks a significant milestone in the university’s journey toward becoming an AI-enabled University.

The MoU between PCU and Fidel Softech was formally signed at the Trust’s office in Akurdi. Dignitaries present on the occasion included Mrs. Padmatai Bhosale (Vice Chairperson, Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust), Mr. Vitthal Kalbhor (Secretary), Mr. Shantaram Garade (Treasurer), Mr. Harshvardhan Patil (Trustee), entrepreneurs Mr. Narendra Landge and Mr. Ajinkya Kalbhor, Executive Director Dr. Girish Desai, Head of the IT & ITES Department Prof. Ramkrishna Vadali, and Mr. Sunil Kulkarni (Chairman and CEO, Fidel Softech Ltd.), among others.

Speaking at the event, Treasurer Mr. Shantaram Garade announced that the Data Analytics Lab—powered by Spogle AI—will soon commence operations at PCU. Students will receive hands-on training in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence, utilizing industry-relevant tools and project-based methodologies. This comprehensive program will encompass expert guidance, training sessions, practical demonstrations, assignments,assessments, and certification. Shantaram Garade further stated that this lab would help students develop the skills necessary for high-demand careers in data analytics, data ingestion and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, predictive modeling, and AI.

Prof. Ramkrishna Vadali delivered the welcome address, while OSD Dr. Yogesh Bhavsar proposed the vote of thanks.
