PCCOER wins University’s Best College Award

Pimpri, Pune (February 13, 2026) Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust’s Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering and Research (PCCOER) was honored with the Best College Award by Savitribai Phule Pune University. At the anniversary ceremony of Savitribai Phule Pune University, the university’s Vice Chancellor Dr. Suresh Gosavi, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Parag Kalkar and entrepreneurs Narendra Landge and Ajinkya Kalbhor accepted the award on behalf of the college. The award consisted of Rs. 1.5 lakh, a memento and a certificate.

PCCOER Director Dr. Harish Tiwari, Deputy Director Dr. Rahul Mapari, Registrar Prakash Yewle etc. were present on this occasion.

PCCOER was established in 2014. The college has already received NAAC’s ‘A Plus Plus’ rating, NBA rating for four departments and AICT approval. It has also received autonomy status for 2025-26. This college has more than 3000 students, There are 44 professors holding PhDs and 55 professors pursuing PhDs. There are 44 professors holding PhDs and 55 professors pursuing PhDs. 419 patents have been filed. 285 have been published. 50 have been approved. 3 patents have been commercialized. PCCOER College has received a certificate from World Records of India twice for its contribution to copyright and patents.
