‘Narsimha Mahayagya’ to be performed for the first time in the country to complete the term of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister – Former MP Amar Sable

Pune (June 10, 2026) The term of the country’s successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Prime Minister has completed 12 years, i.e. one penance, on June 9. The Prime Minister’s resolve that India should stand competently in the world as a developed nation by 2047 should be fulfilled, and also to give Narendra Modi a long life and spiritual strength, the first “Narsimha Mahayagya” was performed in the country by the Bharatiya Janata Party at the ISKCON Shri Krishna Temple in Pune, informed the organizer and former MP Amar Sable.

In this Narasimha Mahayagya, which was held at the ISKCON Shri Krishna Temple in Katraj, Pune on Tuesday (June 9) evening, 57 priests and 57 couples in the form of Lakshmi Narayan participated in the Yagya Ahuti by performing 54 avarats. Bhajan Kirtana was sung in a very devotional and joyful atmosphere. Aarti of Shri Krishna was performed. Also, Bhagavad Gita books were distributed to everyone by former MP Amar Sable and Prasenjit Fadnavis on behalf of the organizers. The program concluded after Mahaprasad.

On this occasion, Shweta Deep Das, Vice President of ISKCON Shri Krishna Temple Committee, Revati Pati Das, as well as Kaustubh Prabhu Das, Govind Prasad Das, Dhruv Maharaj Das participated and managed the event.
