Pimpri, Pune (June 10, 2026) AI is a priceless opportunity for India. India has great competitive and human future-proofing potential. HR officers should utilize it in a proper manner, and success is ours, said Amitabh Mishra, Chief Human Resource Development Officer of Adani Power Ltd. The “HR Excellence Award 2026” organized by Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust, Pimpri Chinchwad University, Pune Business School, HR Success Talk, iSkill Box and Cobz was organized at Hotel Orchid in Balewadi, Pune. On this occasion, Amitabh Mishra said that AI can make the decision-making process more efficient and faster, but it cannot replace human senses and conscience. We should focus on our own skill development and human collaboration. No machine, AI or digital system can work without human participation. We now have the future infrastructure needed for a developed country. The government is also positive. I am fully confident that today’s young generation will make a major contribution to a developed India. We have the capacity and plan to evaluate industries. A vibrant start-up ecosystem and world-class digital infrastructure, young population, computers, local supply chains, multiple computer systems, markets are all available in India. AI is nothing but information. How you use this information is important. Therefore, now the way of learning and innovation at work is changing. AI is an invaluable opportunity for India. India has great competitive potential and the ability to secure the human future. Mishra also gave confidence that HR officers should work on it in a proper manner, success is ours.

PCET Executive Director Dr. Girish Desai said that such awards will be inspiring to bridge the gap between education and industry, honor HR practices and leadership, provide networking opportunities to professionals and corporates, encourage innovation and organizational excellence and increase employee participation in it, said Dr. Desai.

PCU Vice Chancellor Dr. Santosh Sonawane, while welcoming and introducing, said that the HR Excellence Awards have been organized by PBS and PCU with the aim of recognizing and honoring the outstanding contributions made by HR professional bodies and industrialists to promote excellence, innovation, talent development and organizational growth in the industry ecosystem. Don’t forget to keep knowledge and skills up to date; continuous learning is a continuous journey.
