AgriWise Conference provides opportunities for agricultural products in the global market – Juan Benavente
5th AgriWise National Conference concluded at PCET's Pune Business School

Pimpri, Pune (March 5, 2026) If traditional farming methods are changed and advanced technology is used, there is a definite increase in agricultural production and quality. Also, the AgriWise Conference will provide opportunities for farmers’ agricultural products in the global market. Through it, the goal of rural development can be achieved. For this, experienced farmers, researchers, distributors who sell agricultural products, and entrepreneurs should coordinate properly, said Juan Benavente, APAC Head of Snell Integral Pvt. Ltd.

The “5th AgriWise National Conference 2026” was organized at Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust’s (PCET) Pune Business School (PBS) based on the concept of “Adding Value and Its Empowerment”. Industry experts, representatives, professors and students from across the country were present to discuss innovation, sustainability and future opportunities in the agriculture and agribusiness sector.

PBS Director Dr. Ganesh Rao said that this national conference was effective in promoting stronger coordination between entrepreneurs and educational institutions, researchers, students, and knowledge exchange and collaboration. The spontaneous participation of the students and active discussions in all the sessions highlighted the commitment of the institution to create competent agribusiness entrepreneurs of the future.
Dean Dr. Minakshi Tyagi, while welcoming and introducing, said that the guidance provided in initiatives like AgriWise will lead to sustainable growth in agricultural production. This will provide financial support to agriculture and agribusiness businesses. This will create an excellent network of farmers, researchers, entrepreneurs,distributors, traders and consumers and will inspire the next generation to make a significant contribution to the development of the country. Young entrepreneurs will gain confidence to pursue a career in agriculture-related businesses. Through the exchange of ideas, students will gain a new perspective to think beyond the conventional way and will be encouraged to find innovative solutions to the challenges in this field, said Dean Dr. Minakshi Tyagi.
The second edition of the magazine Agriwise was published on this occasion. This magazine includes research articles, expert opinions and industry experiences in the field of agriculture and agribusiness.
