Pune (February 26, 2026): Fidel Softech Ltd., a renowned company in the Information Technology sector, has acquired an 83% stake in IM Corporation, a technology consulting and software services firm based in Japan. This acquisition will significantly boost Fidel’s service and delivery capabilities in the coming years and open up massive new opportunities to expand its Artificial Intelligence (AI) based services. This announcement was made by Fidel’s CEO, Sunil Kulkarni, during a press conference held in Pune.

The event was attended by IM Corporation’s President and CEO Renya Kikuchi, Fidel’s CEO Prachi Kulkarni, Mandar Inamdar, Chief Technology Officer Sushrut Potdar, IM’s Head of Sales Nagata Yoshiyasu, Head of Systems Takashi Sato, PCET’s Executive Officer Dr. Girish Desai, Fidel’s Management Consultant Anil Patwardhan, Dr. Deepak Shikarpur, and Former Global Board Chairman of IMA, Sunil Deshmukh.

Sunil Kulkarni stated that Fidel Softech is a company spearheaded by a Marathi entrepreneur in Japan with over three decades of experience. The company has been operating in the fields of high-end technology, bilingual consulting, and language engineering between Japan and India for 25 years. This partnership will substantially enhance Fidel’s capabilities in areas such as AI-based services tailored for Japanese industries, enterprise solution implementation, bilingual consulting, managed services, and language localization. He added that the company’s objective is to deliver innovative outcomes by combining local project management expertise with global technological capabilities.

IM Corporation’s President and CEO, Renya Kikuchi, expressed that under Sunil Kulkarni’s leadership, the services of both Fidel Softech and IM Corporation can now be delivered with even higher quality. Over the past three years, IM has developed models utilizing its proprietary Neural Knowledge Framework to improve delivery productivity and knowledge reuse. “Together, with a team of over 150 skilled professionals, we are geared up to deliver high-quality technology services,” he said.

Dr. Girish Desai, Executive Director of PCET, remarked that a Marathi entrepreneur from the IT sector establishing his own presence in Japan and quickly acquiring a major stake in a company like IM is inspiring and guiding for all Indian entrepreneurs and startup founders.
